Easter Party

We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather for the Easter party, it was a beautiful afternoon.

The Party started with the arts and crafts as usual, decorating eggs and making crowns, using lots of glue and bits and bobs to stick on. On such a lovely day it was nice to be outside as soon as possible and with the doors open, the kids could wander in and out of the scout hut, having their faces painted and doing crafts at their leisure.

The children didn’t really need too much organising because they were all happily playing together outside in the field. We took along some toys such as skipping ropes, balls, a mini trampoline and a few other things for everyone to play with. We also organised a few games, sack race, egg and spoon race and an obstacle course which everyone seemed to enjoy. It was nice to see all the children interacting so well together and making new friends.

Before leaving they got to pick out a present from the lucky dip box, and take some mini eggs home with them.
All in all it was a very nice and relaxed party, I’m sure everyone had a nice afternoon.
