Ice Skating

On the 15th of February we found our way again to the ice skating rink in Dordrecht.

From 2 to 4 pm one can have a jolly good time on either the outside rink doing some proper skating or in the middle bit playing around a bit or having a good practice, and some people have fun viewing from the canteen with a warm cup of coffee.. ..

The turn out was good, 6 families attended and all had great fun! It was good to see some of the bigger kids being able to skate quite well on their own, won’t be long and they’re faster than me (well, that doesn’t take much ..)

The little ones did really well with their zimmerframes.! One of the girls decided she wanted to skate but had arguments with the ‘glij ijzers’ she was wearing. They were no good! So her mom ended up taking her around all the way.

It was great fun though, but after about 2 hours it was nice to enter the canteen with every one else and have a coffee and a rest before heading home. Hope you all enjoyed it too and we can do it again next year.
