Kids Club - arts and crafts morning

On Sunday 30th November the first official "Kids Club" activity was launched at a member’s house. The activity was a Xmas crafts morning. A long table had been set up in the hall and this formed the creative centre for the morning.

The children all took their places and started to create. They made beautifully decorated Xmas cards with coloured sand and fancy stickers. Many grandparents around the world were proud recipients of these hand made cards.

With a bit of licking they also made some paper chains for Xmas decorations.

Thirdly they decorated glass jars with their individual paintings and designs. These completed jars were used to hold the tea lights to set the correct atmosphere before the arrival of Santa Claus at the Xmas party.

All in all it was a very successful morning and the children and most of the adults learned something new. Thank you for opening up your home and for organising this creative and festive event.
